Ethics Training
Assembly Bill 2158 amended Government Code 53235, requiring local agency officials to complete ethics training every two years while in office.
Effective July 1, 2026, Senate Bill 827 expanded the list of school personnel required to complete this training and requires school districts to post and maintain related information on their websites, including compliance dates and training providers.
