2026 Health Benefit Open Enrollment
We are excited to announce that Open Enrollment for 2026 health benefits will take place from September 15 to October 10, 2025. During this period, employees can review and update their health plan selections, add or remove dependents without needing a qualifying event, and explore a range of benefit options. This is your opportunity to ensure your coverage meets your needs for the upcoming year. Benefit changes made during Open Enrollment will be effective January 1, 2026.
Virtual Benefits Fair- Airbo!
We are pleased to announce a virtual Benefits Fair that will be available throughout the Open Enrollment period, from September 15 to October 10, 2025. You will be able to access the fair at your convenience and explore the various options available to you as an employee. As you interact with the Benefits Fair, you can accumulate points that enter you into a weekly drawing for a chance to win gifts provided by our vendors. To start accumulating points, simply register with your name and NUSD email address—no other information is required.
Steps to Follow:
- Interact with the information provided in the virtual Benefits Fair.
- All health plan information, including deductibles and co-pays, is listed under each provider’s section.
- Fill out enrollment forms linked in each tile on AirBo or below on this webpage.
- Submit completed forms to the Payroll and Benefits Department by October 10, 2025. You can:
- Send them electronically to payrollbenefit@natomasunified.org
- Mail them via district mail or regular mail addressed to Payroll and Benefit Department
- Deliver them in person
In-Person Health Benefit Information Session
- Date: September 16, 2025
- Time: 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM
- Presentations are scheduled for: 4:30pm and 6:30pm
- Location: ED Center Board Room
Format:
Health Benefit Providers will deliver presentations on their health plan options, rate details, and more. Following the presentations, staff will have the opportunity to ask questions and interact directly with the providers.
In addition to the presentations in the BoardRoom, there will be tables set up in the hallway where you can:
- Pick up provider information packets/brochures
- Collect promotional items
- Engage in conversations with the providers
Seating will be provided inside the Board Room for the presentations. Presentations are scheduled for 4:30pm and a second presentation at 6:30pm.
Virtual Health Benefit Information Sessions:
Virtual health benefit information sessions will be available throughout Open Enrollment. You can find the provider names, dates, and Zoom links below. During each session, providers will share details about their plans, and employees will have the opportunity to ask questions.
The providers will be available via Zoom for the entire time frame of each session. You do not need to be present for the entire duration; you are welcome to join at any time during the scheduled window.
Benefit Selection Sheets
If you are making changes to your health benefits, you must complete, sign, and submit a Benefit Selection Sheet. These sheets are available below. Additionally, if you are changing providers or adding dependents, you will need to fill out the provider enrollment forms and submit dependent verification forms.
All documents must be submitted to the Payroll and Benefits Department by October 10. You can send them via district mail, regular mail, drop them off in person at the front desk, or email them to payrollbenefits@natomasunified.org.
