Celebrating our Diversity
Welcome to the Natomas Unified School District Celebrating Diversity page where you can find our Calendar of Recognitions and various cultural awareness resources.
It is important to note that the Natomas community is one of the most diverse communities in the nation, one of our community’s strongest attributes.
We value diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we strive to be as inclusive as possible.
With the help, input, and support from our staff, students, and families, we will collaboratively work together for an inclusive Natomas where everyone is respected and feels welcomed and valued.
Our team is dedicated to updating this page often; please visit frequently to find updated events, general updates, and notes from our monthly *DEI Change Management Workgroup.
*This is a group of NUSD staff members who meet monthly and seek to ensure our district values diversity and promotes positive outcomes for all of our students, their families, and our community.
To learn more about our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion plan, how we are implementing it, and to see some examples of the plan in action, visit our dedicated DEI page here.
