While many departments and community partners contribute to the operation of the program, the primary departments that oversee the program are Communications and Family Engagement (CAFE), Equity in Excellence (E2), and HEART team. The program is under the umbrella of NUSD Umoja, a collection of our programs, dedicated efforts, and resources for our Black/African American families.
