Literacy Equity
At NUSD, we believe literacy is a fundamental and essential skill for all. Our district has multiple resources, programs and initiatives to increase scholar mastery of critical literacy skills.
Concurrently, we also acknowledge that having a diverse set of literature, and a rich variety of materials for our scholars to access that literature is critical towards creating the optimal conditions for true equity in literacy.
