TCM Home Book Bundles
Teacher Created Materials' program supports student learning by fostering social interactions that align with academic success, cultural competence, and critical consciousness. Through culturally authentic texts, students explore various Rings of Culture, enhancing content-area literacy while encouraging collaboration and shared understanding. The lessons incorporate culturally and linguistically responsive strategies, as well as listening and speaking standards in reading instruction. Educators are guided by a Management Guide, which offers literacy, vocabulary, read-aloud, and discussion activities. Additionally, the program provides a professional resource to help teachers apply these strategies to any type of text and understand the pedagogical framework for effective implementation.
