Bus Pass Information
Bus Passes
The state of California does not mandate transportation. It is a privilege, this privilege is extended only to students who display good conduct while preparing to ride, riding or leaving the bus.
Students using District-operated services are required to have bus identification cards. These cards are the property of Natomas Unified School District and must be surrendered to any district employee upon request.
Students enrolled in Special Education programs whose Individualized Education Programs (IEP) prescribe home-to-school transportation are not required to obtain bus passes.
Bus Pass Use
Each student is required to present a bus identification card to the driver each time he or she boards or exits a bus. Students who have used District-operated bus transportation previously MUST obtain a new bus identification card each school year.
The Transportation Department may deny service to students who do not have a bus identification card for the current school year.
