For student enrollment using Online Registration, please review the step-by-step instructions (en Español). Pop Up Blockers must be turned off to use the Online Registration tool.
Note that applications will be processed when the application is considered complete, not when the application is first submitted. If the supporting documents are not attached, then your application is not considered complete.
Student enrollment completed using the paper Enrollment Packet can be turned in at the boundary school or the District Office.
If you live in the Natomas Unified School District boundaries, your child will be enrolled at your boundary school. A detailed enrollment confirmation will be emailed to you, at the email address you provided in your registration application, with further information once the application is completely processed. Note: If your application is incomplete or there is not space at your boundary school, you will be contacted by a staff member.
If your student has an Individual Education Plan (IEP) they may or may not attend their boundary school based on their IEP. After your student’s enrollment is complete the Student Services and Support team will review your student’s most current IEP and ensure appropriate school placement. For questions regarding your student’s enrollment with an IEP please contact Student Services and Support at (916) 567-5852.
Preschool enrollment is based on eligibility. If you have already worked with your preschool team, placement has been communicated to your family. If you have not worked with your preschool team, a staff member will review your application and contact you regarding the next steps in the application process. Submission of an application does not confirm enrollment in Preschool. If you have any questions, please contact the Early Learning Department at 916-567-5516 or schoolreadiness@ natomasunified.org.
When a school is overcrowded, students living in that school’s boundary, may need to attend another school in the district. For more information, please visit the School Enrollment and Capacity page.
