Read to Succeed: Early Literacy Initiative

Read to Succeed Logo

Natomas Unified has launched the Read to Succeed Early Learners Literacy initiative, focusing on enhancing literacy skills for our youngest learners. While at school, there will be a focus on the following areas:

  • Science of reading
  • Foundational reading skills
  • Common early literacy assessments
  • Early literacy resources for classrooms and homes
  • In-class coaching for teachers
  • Professional development for teachers and administrators

We invite our families to partner with us by incorporating reading time at home and activities to make reading fun and engaging!
